Orsett Hall hotel is a popular wedding & conference venue with a marquee on the lawn in readiness for an afternoon event.

However on 11th May 2007 Orsett Hall was hit with a fire.

The fire service say: “The blaze appears to have started in the kitchen. Because of the age of the property fire quickly spread.”

Unfortunately the wedding venue at Orsett Hall has been destroyed. I wish all the brides who have booked at the venue luck with finding an alternative.
